Firebase is one of the hot development platforms out there. This technical talk will cover the experience Maik and his team got building a video interview service (videointerview.io) on top of the Firebase platform.
The topics discussed will include an introduction to the Firebase service, its architecture and lessons learned through failures and successes.
With a background in roles covering API Architecture, development across the stack and Mobile Applications, Maik Buchmeyer currently applies his experience to bridge technology and business as the engineering lead of AIR, an innovation arm of en-japan inc. As a creator at heart constantly working on side projects, he appreciates how modern application development platforms like Firebase enable professional and independent makers to bring ideas to life. Convinced of the benefits and seeing such platforms mature, he decided to adopt them professionally and most recently in the development of a video interviewing solution.
