We will have a screening of “the WAY BACK to YARASQUIN” and a talk show at the event space from 14:00 on April 13th (Sat).
This 35-minutes documentary is the story of Mayra Orellana-Powell, who established Catracha Coffee Company (https://www.catrachacoffee.com/) in 2010, realised her dream of starting a coffee business that would have an impact in the community where she was born and raised, in the municipality of Santa Elena, department of La Paz, Honduras, the sixth largest country produce coffee in the world. In the film, she talks about the story of her long-time dream of launching a business with coffee and her challenges to be a coomuniator between producers and the market in order to contribute to the community of producers in her hometown.
The film is produced by TWENTY TWENTY STUDIO based in San Francisco, and Yuya Fujii (YUYA ROAST) worked on Japanese subtitles.
Following introduction by Fujii-san, Mayra will give a talk about the film and have a talk with HUB members (currently looking for speakers!). You will also be able to enjoy her Catracha Coffee during networking time, which is a great opportunity to chat with Mayra.
